Stop Using a Short, Slow Backswing

Unless you consistently spray your driver out-of-bounds or two fairways over...

Studies show that hitting the ball farther will help most golfers score better.

According to data collected by the Arccos game tracking system, gaining just 10–15 yards off the tee can lower many golfers' average scores by two to three shots.

Now, if you want to hit the ball farther, a short, slow backswing isn't going to get you there.

What you need instead is likely a LONGER backswing and a quicker tempo.

For a great example of this, check out my student, Doug, in the video above.

I worked with Doug for about an hour using Tour Tempo and the Drag-N-Fly.

And in about an hour, he went from driving the ball 221 yards to 251 yards, a 30-yard gain.

It goes without saying, but this is NOT about simply, "swinging as hard as you can."

It's about creating more load in less time.

The Drag-N-Fly is a great tool for this and you can learn more about the Drag-N-Fly here.
