Did you see "the shot of a lifetime" Rory hit into the 15th green during the final round of the 2025 Masters Tournament?
If you haven't seen it, you gotta watch the video above.
Yes, Rory's ability to smash his 7-iron nearly 200 yards, around trees, over water and onto the green was impressive...
But I was equally impressed with how he pulled it off in one of the most pressure-packed situations I've ever seen.
Much of the credit, in my opinion, is due to Rory having an extremely consistent, 3-to-1 tempo.
In addition to maximizing speed and power, in high-pressure situations where the mind is in overdrive, a consistent tempo is like having your body on cruise control.
In short, it allows you to perform without really thinking about it...or despite thinking about it.
And Rory had a LOT to think about.
The Masters had previously slipped through his fingers several times and the pressure to win it was intense to say the least.
And just before this shot, it looked like it could happen again — Rory lost the lead by making a double-bogey on hole 13, a bogey on hole 14...and his drive on 15 came to rest behind some trees some 200+ yards from the green...guarded by water.
Instead of folding under the pressure, he maintained his 3-to-1 tempo and hit a towering 7-iron that curled around the trees, over the water, and onto the green, stopping about six feet from the hole.
Now, I am not saying Tour Tempo will help you hit miraculous shots like this.
But I AM saying Tour Tempo helps put your swing on autopilot so you can perform even when the pressure is on.
